Abstract: In the context of the new era, promoting the high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education is a key measure to meet the demand for high-level technical and skilled talents in response to the high-quality development of the economy and society. On the basis of interpreting the essential connotation of high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education from the aspects of type positioning, talent cultivation, integration of industry and education, and innovation ability, and point out that vocational undergraduate education combines the theoretical and systematic aspects of undergraduate education, while also highlighting the practical and applied aspects of vocational education. The high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education requires continuous innovation and reform of talent training models, deepening the integration of industry and education, and emphasizing the cultivation of innovative abilities. Then thes paper deeply explores the realistic dilemma faced in promoting the high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education in China, such as social recognition, educational quality, and service functions. Then proposing the corresponding breakthrough paths, such as jointly guiding the “government-media industry-enterprise” to reshape the social identity and attractiveness of vocational undergraduate education, optimizing the investment of educational and teaching resources to ensure the high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education, accurately serving society and adhering to the guidance of social needs.Abstract: In the context of the new era, promoting the high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education is a key measure to meet the demand for high-level technical and skilled talents in response to the high-quality development of the economy and society. Abstract: The rapid digital transformation of China’s vocational education system has introduced extensive opportunities for flexible, technology-enhanced learning. However, sustaining long-term engagement in online learning environments remains an unresolved challenge, particularly among students enrolled in application-oriented majors such as Intelligent Transportation. The present study investigates the key factors influencing the sustainability of online learning and proposes practical optimization strategies to enhance students’ continued participation and learning quality. Drawing upon self-regulation theory, expectancy–value theory, and the community of inquiry framework, this research conceptualizes online learning sustainability as the persistent, self-motivated, and value-driven engagement of learners in digital learning activities over time. Empirical data were collected through a structured questionnaire survey of 200 Chinese vocational college students majoring in Intelligent Transportation. The study utilized a five-point Likert scale to assess seven latent constructs—self-regulated learning (SRL), digital literacy (DL), institutional support (IS), teacher presence (TP), peer interaction (PI), motivation (MO), and perceived usefulness (PU)—as predictors of sustainability intention (SI). Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, reliability testing, Pearson correlations, and standardized multiple regression. All measurement scales demonstrated satisfactory internal consistency (Cronbach’s α = 0.84–0.87). The regression model revealed that SRL, MO, and PU exerted the strongest direct effects on SI, while IS, DL, and TP played important enabling roles. PI exhibited a smaller but significant positive influence, emphasizing the value of peer networks in maintaining engagement. Based on the empirical findings, the paper proposes twelve evidence-based strategies addressing institutional policy, digital infrastructure, instructional design, and learner support systems. These include developing analytics-based early-warning systems, enhancing teacher feedback cycles, integrating certification-oriented learning pathways, and strengthening self-regulation and motivation training. The study contributes both theoretically and practically to the growing discourse on sustainable online learning in vocational education, offering a replicable model and strategic roadmap for educators and policymakers seeking to align digital pedagogy with the objectives of China’s high-quality vocational education reform.Abstract: The rapid digital transformation of China’s vocational education system has introduced extensive opportunities for flexible, technology-enhanced learning. Abstract: Against the backdrop of the deep integration of emerging engineering education and Industry 4.0, cultivating the innovative abilities of optoelectronic talents has become a crucial task in higher education. Given the highly experimental and applied nature of optoelectronic courses, this paper systematically reviews the current problems in optoelectronic experimental teaching regarding teaching objectives, content, methods, resources, and evaluation. It proposes the construction of an inquiry-based experimental teaching model. This model is developed around principles such as a multi-level experimental project system, open experimental objectives, diverse experimental methods, and the design of uncertain outcomes. It integrates modern teaching approaches like problem-oriented and project-driven teaching, optimizes the use of experimental equipment resources, compiles inquiry-based experimental textbooks, and establishes virtual simulation experimental platforms. Through the analysis of practical teaching cases, the effectiveness of this model in stimulating students' initiative and enhancing their innovative and practical abilities is verified, providing a feasible pathway for cultivating versatile optoelectronic talents that meet industry demands.Abstract: Against the backdrop of the deep integration of emerging engineering education and Industry 4.0, cultivating the innovative abilities of optoelectronic talents has become a crucial task in higher education.
