Abstract: At the end of December 2021, in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Mr. Yan Fu, a famous translator, the Commercial Press published On the Exercise of Judgment in Literature, written by British writer W. Basil. Worsfold in 1900. This book includes the preface written by Professor Luo Xuanmin and his complete translation, Mr. Yan Fu's three-chapter abridged translation, thus completing the construction of intertextuality between the two Chinese translation versions and the English original work lasting for more than a century. This paper gives a brief introduction to the main contents and features of the book, and uses both comparative and contrastive methods to deeply analyze the similarities and differences between Luo's translation and Yan's translation. It holds that the commonness lies in that translation is an act that serves ideological and political purposes; the difference is that different translation ideas lead to different translation results, especially the two versions have completely different treatment of the book title. Through the analysis of homogeneity and heterogeneity, this paper aims to arouse more scholars' attention to the intertextuality and sociology of translation.Abstract: At the end of December 2021, in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Mr. Yan Fu, a famous translator, the Commercial Press published On the Exercise of Judgment in Literature, written by British writer W. Abstract: Objective:To explore the present status and charactistics of adult attachmentand mental health among medical undergraduates, and analyze the influences of gender and adult attachment categery on mental health among medical undergraduates. Methods: Stratified random sampling was used to select 855 medical undergraduates from Guangdong Province, China. They were investigated with Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory (ECR) and Symptom Check-List90 (SCL-90). Results: (1) The scores in the dimensions of attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance of ECR were (3.89±0.74) and (3.77±0.55), respectively. There are 30.53% of students in this group with a secure attachment style, 12.63% with a preoccupied attachment style, 15.09% with a dimissingattachment style, and 41.75% with a fearful attachment style. (2) The total score of SCL-90 was (1.87±0.47), andthe scores of obsessive-compulsive and interpersonal sensitivity were higher than 2.0, the lower score limit of postive symptom. (3) The positive rates of mental problems of students with different genders and attachment styles were significantly different (χ2=107.598-303.919, all P<.001). Conclusion: The adult attachment and mental health of medical undergraduates need to be improved. Gender and adult attachment may be important influencing factors of mental health.Abstract: Objective:To explore the present status and charactistics of adult attachmentand mental health among medical undergraduates, and analyze the influences of gender and adult attachment categery on mental health among medical undergraduates. Abstract: Scenic resources are the essence of natural and human resources in national parks, and the effectiveness of conservation policy implementation is the key to achieving the ecological integrity, authenticity and typicality of national parks. Based on the research hypothesis of the relationship between "conservation behavior intention" and "conservation policy" of national park landscape resources proposed by Shennongjia National Park, this study establishes a second-order SEM, reveals the internal relationship between the conservation behavior intention and conservation policy of national park landscape resources, and puts forward the optimization path of the management and control path of national park landscape resources conservation through difference analysis. The research results show that national park landscape resource conservation policy has a significant positive impact on social norms, and directly affects conservation behavior intentions through social norms; Community residents are more concerned about the impact of conservation policies on their production and lifestyle, while tourists pay more attention to the ecological environment quality of landscape resources and the implementation of relevant policies such as recreational facilities. The management of legislation policy directly affects the existing way of scenic resources in Shennongjia National Park, and affects the establishment of community management and control mechanism and the behavior of community residents through social norms. This study puts forward the strategy of optimizing the national park landscape resource conservation policy in four aspects, namely, ecological environment sustainability, ecological conservation policy system, coordinated and orderly management and control mechanism, and joint construction of harmonious social relations.Abstract: Scenic resources are the essence of natural and human resources in national parks, and the effectiveness of conservation policy implementation is the key to achieving the ecological integrity, authenticity and typicality of national parks. Abstract: From the Renaissance to the early 19th century, the development of English poetry showed a longitudinal trend. Each era had relatively fixed poetry schools and some outstanding poets, which were sufficient to represent the social spirit of that era. However, in the middle and late 19th century, that is, the Victorian era, English poetry presented a diversified trend of multifarious and double-track development. Romanticism, aestheticism, realism, feminism, symbolism and other schools competed with each other, coexisting and prospering. However, looking at the overall situation, it is not difficult to find that the poetry of this period seems to have certain integrity and common characteristics. That is, it replaces the loud cry of romanticism with deep thinking and introspection, which makes the expression of poetry burst from pure emotion to deep heart. It emphasizes the objectivity of things, pay attention to revealing the true face of things and reject the subjective fantasy of romanticism. The religious philosophy of Tennyson's poetry, the dramatic monologue of Browning's poetry, Matthew Arnold's critical theory and the feminist thoughts of Emily Bronte, Elizabeth Browning and other female writers are all typical representatives of the trend of poetry in this period. In addition, the embodiment of aestheticism in poetry and the voice rhetoric in Hopkin's poetry also make the poetry of this period unique.Abstract: From the Renaissance to the early 19th century, the development of English poetry showed a longitudinal trend. Abstract: Driven by advances in multimedia technologies, digital multimodal composing (DMC) has gained growing scholarly interests. DMC affords language learners a new experience in language learning and use. While completing DMC projects, L2 learners construct meanings by assembling both linguistic and non-linguistic resources (e.g., visuals, audio, videos, etc.). This is largely in line with their out-of-class text composing experiences. To understand the state-of-the-art developments in DMC research, this article reviewed the empirical studies published between January 2011 and October 2022. It provides a general overview of these studies regarding the overall trends, theoretical underpinnings, research contexts, research methods, and major research strands. The research findings indicate: (1) DMC has been increasingly attended to by L2 researchers with the number of research articles showing an ascending trend; (2) These empirical studies were grounded in a variety of theories, including the social semiotic theory of multimodality, multiliteracies, task-based language teaching, social/cultural construction, meta-functions of systemic-functional linguistics, translanguaging, and others; (3) The bulk of research has been investigated in tertiary schools, although the research contexts were diversified; (4) Most studies were conducted qualitatively; (5) Scholarly attention has been paid to four major strands: composing process, teachers’ and learners’ perceptions of DMC, DMC’s impact on L2 development, and assessment of DMC artifacts. The major research strands and sample studies were discussed in detail. This article ends with recommendations for future studies.Abstract: Driven by advances in multimedia technologies, digital multimodal composing (DMC) has gained growing scholarly interests.
