Investigation and Research on the Germplasm Resources of Basu Zui Pear in Changdu City

| Abstract: | To comprehensively understand the distribution, quantity, age, yield, and fruit quality of the inebriating pear in Basu County, and to systematically carry out the comprehensive collection and precise identification of the inebriating pear germplasm resources in Basu County, so as to provide accurate data basis for the subsequent protection, utilization and management of the germplasm resources. The fruit tree resources of inebriating pear in Basu County, Changdu City were investigated through on-site investigation, interview investigation and route investigation. Due to the influence of the "high in the north and low in the south" terrain of the Three Rivers Basin and the plateau temperate semi-arid monsoon climate (annual average temperature 10.4°C, precipitation 233.3mm, frost-free period 161.7 days), the inebriating pear shows obvious vertical distribution adaptability, and forms a concentrated planting area in the river valley at an altitude of 2800-3200m. The principal component analysis (PCA) of fruit quality revealed that single fruit weight, transverse diameter, and soluble solids content were the dominant contributors to the first principal component, explaining nearly half of the total variance. Notably, Ziga Village exhibited the highest comprehensive fruit quality score. In contrast, Lagen Village exhibited higher fruit hardness and stone cell content, contributing to its high score in the second principal component. the lowest fruit shape index was found in Lieri Village, indicating a relatively flattened fruit shape, while other villages had values closer to or exceeding 0.8. Through the investigation and research on the distribution and growth of inebriating pear in Basu County this time, it provides a reference basis for the rational utilization, resource protection and artificial cultivation of inebriating pear resources in Basu County. |
