| Abstract: | With the continuous innovation of technology, the development of landscape architecture has also ushered in new opportunities and challenges. Against this backdrop, the importance of natural healing landscapes and ecological restoration has become increasingly prominent. This article systematically explores the design of natural healing landscapes guided by the concept of ecological restoration. Through the organic integration of the two, it can not only enhance the quality of the urban environment but also effectively promote human physical and mental health. Reviewing the development process of natural healing landscapes, from traditional horticultural therapy to modern natural healing concepts, this paper deeply analyzes the positive mechanisms of natural environments on human health. At the same time, the core connotation of ecological restoration was elaborated, which is to minimize human intervention to restore the self-regulation ability of the ecosystem, and its importance in urban waterfront landscapes and wetland parks was emphasized; further design principles such as ecological priority, health guidance, functional diversification, and sustainability were proposed, achieving the dual goals of ecological restoration and healing through the combination of plant configuration, water feature design, natural element introduction, and ecological restoration technology. Finally, the future development direction of landscape architecture design was discussed, and it was pointed out that intelligent design, data-driven restoration, and interdisciplinary cooperation will become important trends. In the future, landscape architecture is expected to become an important place for people to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, relax their minds, and a key component of urban ecological balance. |
