| Abstract: | Recently, electromagnetic radiation pollution has become one of the problems that people pay attention to. In this paper, natural graphite and carbon nanotubes were used to produce wood plastics composites with electromagnetic shielding performance through a molding method. Flexural properties, electrical resistivity and electromagnetic shielding properties were studied using a material testing machines and EMI apparatus. The results showed that graphite and CNTs show a good synergistic effect. Flexural strength increased from 55 to 62 MPa and flexural modulus was elevated from 6380MPa to 7129MPa. The water absorption of composites increased as CNTs increased, whereas electrical resistivity decreased. The electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) increased as CNTs increased. By and large, the experimental results of EMI were equal to that of theoretical calculation. EMI SE of composite increased from 16 to 35dB due to the addition of CNTs, and these results could meet the requirement of commerce. |
