| Abstract: | With the continuous promotion and deepening of modern teaching methods and concepts in medical education, medical education has been significantly enriched in both content and form. Various forms of practical teaching combined with problems and cases not only deepen students' knowledge of diseases, but also exercise students' clinical thinking and ability to solve actual clinical disease problems. However, the enrichment of these forms and contents still lacks the cultivation of medical students' ability to explore and analyze diseases and to know diseases in general, and the medical students lack the ability to grasp the overall situation and to understand and explore the disease in depth. Medical students are limited to the cognitive level of disease causes, mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment, and lack of overall grasp and in-depth understanding and exploration ability. The study of history of disease can cultivate students' ability to comprehensively analyze and understand the disease through the understanding of people's understanding of the tortuous course of disease knowledge and treatment on the basis of the conventional knowledge of the disease, so that students can have a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the disease from the perspective of society, humanities and other perspectives, and achieve the change from training medical students to training medical scientists. |
